One week into the new year! How are you feeling mama? Are you starting the year feeling prepared or are you feeling a little overwhelmed and behind?
Wherever you are at, this is for you!
For many, 2024 was a tough year to process and for others, it was filled with much success! I think for me, it was a mix of both. Lots of ups, wins & success but also lots of downs and a lot of transitions and changes to process over..
Take this moment, if you haven’t already, to reflect on 2024.
- What did you learn?
- What were some wins?
- How did you grow?
- What do you want to leave in the past?
- What do you want to tweak to make it better for this next year?
- What are your hopes and goals for this year? (use your mompreneur planner to help you break those down into actionable steps so you can have the year you want!)
Setting Up For Your Ideal Week
Have you heard the analogy of putting the big rocks in the container first and then the little rocks will find a spot around them and you will have the most space?
It's a good one, and VERY relatable to setting yourself up for success.
We are going to do an activity to put this into action!
I want you to lay out your “ideal week”.
- What does your morning and evening look like?
- Do you have a weekly date night there?
- How many hours of work do you have?
- When are you scheduling personal time?
Now, I want you to highlight the most important tasks and events. These are your BIG ROCKS. Every week, I want you to schedule in these most important tasks or your “BIG ROCKS” first and focus on prioritizing those. Then schedule in your other tasks you want to get done around it. The mompreneur weekly layout is great for this with its timeblocking & time stamp feature.
Every week should be modeled after your “ideal week” so that you can be intentional about your 2025 and prioritize on completing what is most important to you.
A user of the Mompreneur Planner told me that she taped her “ideal week” at the front of her planner as a guide to map out her weeks. I loved this idea and will definitely implement in my planner!
