You don’t need a full day to make progress

You don’t need a full day to make progress

Summer isn’t about cramming in more. It’s about working wisely.

If you’ve ever looked at your to-do list and thought, “I don’t have time to do any of this,” this note is for you.
Because sometimes… 30 minutes is all you have.
And guess what? That’s enough.

Slow work still works.

You don’t need a full 6-hour, uninterrupted work block (does that even exist for moms?!) to make meaningful progress.

In fact, some of my most productive moments have happened in the cracks of motherhood:
✨ 20 minutes while the kids color
✨ A focused hour during nap time
✨ 15 minutes in the car before school pickup

Progress doesn’t have to be fast or flashy to count.
It just needs to be consistent and aligned.

So here’s your gentle challenge this week: Instead of waiting for “more time,” work with what you’ve got.

Set a timer for 25 minutes.
Choose one tiny task that moves the needle.
And call it a win when it’s done.

Slow doesn’t mean stuck.
And little doesn’t mean lazy.
Slow work is still sacred work.

I am with you in the margins,
—Taylor
